*Position Overview:* We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech) to join our healthcare team in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal structures for medical diagnosis.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment in accordance with physician orders.
* Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by following established protocols and providing clear instructions.
* Position patients properly and adjust equipment to obtain the best possible images.
* Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
* Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
* Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices.
*Qualifications:*
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
* Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
* Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Massachusetts.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image production.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
* Flexibility to work evening shifts and weekends as needed.
