Symbal Education is Hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional Near Fremont, CA

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals to join our team of educators in California. Our mission is to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students in classroom settings
  • Assist with the development of social skills and positive behavioral interventions
  • Collaborate with special education teachers to monitor student progress
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
  • Assist with daily living and self-care tasks as needed
  • Facilitate the inclusion of students in general education classrooms

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field preferred
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school administration
  • Patience, understanding, and a positive demeanor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
