Job Title: Operations Manager
Report To:Vice President of Sales and Marketing
- Directly manage/oversee overall operations of Sylvan East office and warehouse.
- Responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, safety, and sales and marketing.
- Enhance the operational procedure in the areas of communication and management, business processes, and management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws.
- Manager duties and responsibilities may include interviewing, selection, and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; conducting and discussing employee performance reviews; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.
- Assisting in organizing the budget of Sylvan East in collaboration with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
- Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and customer service experience is expected. Typically reports to the Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and top management.
- Communicate customer issues with upper management – collaborate to provide ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
Education/Experience:
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or another business-related field.
- Previous sales experience in a production-orientated business
