```Job Summary```
We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as an after-school Sylvan tutor. As a Sylvan tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of students. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage a small group of students (3:1), ranging from K-12 and a passion for educating and empowering children.

```Responsibilities```
- Provide tutoring and academic support to students in various subjects
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with Program Director, teachers and other staff members to develop and implement educational programs
- Utilize learning technology to enhance student engagement and learning
- Learn the Sylvan Learning Platform
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to Program Director and parents/guardians
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the school program

- Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required

```Experience```
- Previous experience in tutoring is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
- Familiarity with early childhood education settings is a plus
- Experience working with learning technology tools and resources
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
