We are currently looking for Spanish language tutors at our learning center in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Responsibilities:

- Main Spanish teacher for winter Spanish language camp that's designed to introduce Spanish language to K to early elementary kids with instructions and age-appropriate fun activities / games to enhance the camp experience

- Supervise, interact with, and motivate students in a small group (6-10 students)

- Reward students for completed assignments

- Communicate student needs to the center director

- Inspire students and establish a fun learning environment

- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and Sylvan

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's Degree required

- Native Spanish speaker and 2 years teaching experience

- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask

- Availability in the mornings and / or afternoons of this upcoming winter break

Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in teaching Spanish with experiences teaching popular Spanish curriculums

-Camp teaching experience would be strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Patience and empathy when working with students who may be struggling academically.
- Flexibility in scheduling tutoring sessions based on student availability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
