Dental practice in Tinton Falls looking for a highly skilled, friendly receptionist to help us grow our patient base as the first face parents and patients meet when they enter our state-of-the-art practice. Experience in billing, scheduling and customer service in a dental office is a must. As a receptionist, you will be responsible for coordinating and confirming appointments, processing payments and managing insurance claims. This is a long-term position for someone who wants to be an integral part in helping build a new practice and grow with the office. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
Responsibilities
· Warmly greet patients and parents and maintain a positive attitude in all interactions
· Answer phones, schedule appointments and manage appointment schedule
· Enter patient data and insurance information
· Verify insurance coverage and benefits prior to patient appointments
· Discuss treatment plans and payments required with parents prior to procedures
· Collect and post payments
· Collaborate with other healthcare providers concerning mutual patients and email/mail reports
· Check and respond to voicemails and emails throughout the day
· Assist with marketing and social media endeavors
Skills
· 1 year experience in a dental office required
· Positive, customer-focused attitude
· Ability to interact with children and parents in a caring manner
· Able to prioritize tasks and work with interruptions
· Good computer skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
