PURPOSE: The Front Desk Manager is responsible for the hiring and training of the tenant support staff. They are an
example of the Switchpoint model and familiarize themselves with our culture. They lead by example and work to
cultivate a successful environment with both staff and tenants. They work to maximize tenant satisfaction in line
with facility rules and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Assists Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day functions of the facility.
• Engage in regular check-ins with tenant support staff.
• Ensures compliance to policies and procedures with both staff and tenants.
• Reports any maintenance issues to the maintenance staff and property manager.
• Handles tenant complaints, de-escalates when needed and involves property manager when needed.
• Schedules employees to ensure shift coverage, minimizing overtime as much as possible.
• Works closely with the case management team to assist tenant progression and well-being.
• Holds tenants accountable to leases and issues warnings as necessary.
• Assists the Property Manager in quick turnover of rooms and filling unit vacancies as quickly as possible.
• Assists other departments as necessary to help the facility run successfully.
• Covers shifts as needed due to staffing vacancies.
• Keeps inventory of supplies needed for the property.
• Works to ensure accurate ordering of supplies.
• Hiring and training of tenant support staff.
• Assists with all activities and property functions to ensure tenant satisfaction.
• Assists Property Manager with any budgetary concerns.
• Be accountable for the tenant support team.
• Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
• Report critical incident(s) immediately to Regional Director.
• Other responsibilities as needed by the Regional Director or Property Manager that pertain to the facility.
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly intelligent hospitality professional with outstanding
management skills and extensive hands-on experience. Available to work when needed, including weekends,
holidays, and nights.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Outstanding problem-solving skills; capable of making quick yet sound judgments and decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point of sale (POS) software.
• Ability to learn other software as needed.
• 2 years in the hospitality or human services industry. Ideally, with experience serving individuals who are
low-income to extremely low income with compassion and caring.
• 1 years in management
COMPENSATION:
Wage range $20 - $25
