What does a Financial Reporting Analyst do at Swire Coca-Cola?The Financial Reporting Analyst role provides financial information to various internal and external stakeholders by compiling and analyzing account information; analyzing accounting options; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other special and ad-hoc reports; reconciling discrepancies; auditing documents; preparing and recommending policies and procedures; supporting other Finance and Accounting leaders and team members.Responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsSummarize current financial results for stakeholders by collecting information, preparing financial reporting, performing ad-hoc analysis, and developing other special reportsContribute to the production of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosuresMaintain documentation related to financial reporting processes and procedures.Perform month-end closing processesPrepare journal entries by compiling support and analyzing account information.Analyze current and past trends in financial performance including key performance indicators. Highlight, research, and explain unexpected variancesSupport CAPEX planning, audits, and fixed asset accounting; create and manage WBS elementsPrepares certain corporate level payments by verifying documentation, determining account coding, and requesting disbursementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for reporting purposesIdentify and implement process improvements including financial reporting tool enhancement and automation opportunitiesDemonstrate ownership of ad-hoc requests and analysis to drive improved decision making and financial performanceRequirements:Bachelor's Degree accounting, finance, or related discipline requiredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred2 years financial reporting experience required4 years Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) requiredExperience with Microsoft Office programs, specifically ExcelAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with orientation on resultsExperience with extract and analyze large data files and manipulate them into reports for analysisExperience with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools.
