About the job Election Distribution Clerks (Owings Mills)
Election Distribution Clerks needed for our government client in Owings Mills. The Election Distribution Clerks will provide sorting, inventory and filing support.
Six month contract position with possible extension. The non-negotiable pay rate is $15.00 per hour.
Essential Duties :
- Removing ballots from boxes and sorting by geographical location.
- Repairing labels for mailing ballots to residents.
- Filing voter registration cards.
- Entering voter and ballot information into the system.
- Receiving and verifying the accuracy of ballots
Qualifications :
- Must be able to type at least 40 wpm.
- Must be registered to vote.
- Must be able to work from 8 : 00 am-4 : 30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non paid lunch with overtime required on evenings and weekends as we get closer to the primary and general elections.
- Must have own transportation.
- All work is performed on site.
- Must be able to pass a national background check and drug test.
