Swift Creek Pediatrics is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Midlothian, VA

Our small patient focused pediatric practice is looking for a front desk reception/patient care coordinator to join our thriving practice.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
  • Verify insurance information and assist with billing and payment processing
  • Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Manage office supplies and maintain a clean reception area
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical office preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
  • Proficiency in using dental or medical office software systems (Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
