Medical Receptionist
Exciting, NEW rapidly growing Pediatric Practice focused on delivering excellent patient service in a fun, family-oriented atmosphere, requires energetic, highly personable Receptionist to join our team! Must be willing to be a team-player.
Must possess outstanding customer service and the skills to help create a warm, caring team oriented environment at the practice.
Medical office experience essential.
Major Responsibilities/Tasks:
· Check-in of patients
· Verifying insurance eligibility
· Check-out of patients on scheduler
· Faxing medical records and reports to appropriate medical offices
· Checking faxes
· Answering the phone
· Correctly entering/updating patient information into EMR (PCC).
· Posting patient payments correctly
· Balancing payments collected
· Scanning patient information
· Keeping the reception area clean
Contribute to TEAM effort by supporting and helping all staff and team members, anticipating potential needs, and advancing the success of our Mission as a Pediatric Practice which is to allow our patients/families to have a seamless and positive experience whether they are here or on the phone.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour (Hourly pay commensurate with experience)
