How You Will Make an Impact

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience managing fixed assets. As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all fixed assets, tracking depreciation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Maintain accurate records of all fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal
• Participate in the monthly close process for fixed assets, including journal entries, adjustments, and account reconciliations
• Ensure accurate asset capitalization and classification in accordance with Company policies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of fixed asset data
• Monitor and report on fixed asset activity including roll forward schedules
• Participate in the budgeting process as it related to capital expenditures and depreciation
• Perform other duties, projects or analyses as directed
• Perform periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets
• Prepare and analyze fixed asset reports for management

Skills Needed to Win: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
• Experience with fixed asset software 
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with multiple financial systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
