Associate Project Manager, Retail Strategy 

Job Overview

This position will support many of the key strategic projects of our fast-growing Retail Strategy team within Swickard Auto Group. The Retail Strategy team is tasked with implementing strategic projects that help improve the business efficiency and customer experience across the entire organization. This position will have the opportunity to lead multiple high-visibility projects that could have lasting impact on the success of our organization. 

The ideal candidate will have project management skills, PowerPoint/presentation skills, be highly organized, be able to manage multiple priorities at one time, great attention to detail, and be comfortable dealing with high amounts of ambiguity. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders to understand project impact, timelines, and requirements
• Create project plans and communicate them to all stakeholders
• Create well-designed, clear PowerPoint or Canva presentations
• Follow typical project management steps to ensure successful project launch
• Prepare reports and presentations for upper management and dealerships
• Support lead Project Manager in some organization changing high priority projects
• Use Excel and other tools to build reports as needed to help us understand project impact
• Be willing to travel, up to 20%

Qualifications 

• 2-5 years experience assisting or leading large projects
• Bachelor’s Degree (accredited school) with emphasis in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing for all levels of the organization
• Solid understanding of change management practices
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to investigate, plan, and implement projects with minimal supervision

The ideal candidate will also have experience with:

• Project management for an organization with multiple large changes
• Technical project management using Agile or Scrum methodologies
