Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk Check-In SWICFT Cardiology, located in downtown Naples, is actively seeking a Patient Care Coordinator/Front Desk Check-in for a busy cardiology practice.
Responsibilities:
Answer patient calls efficiently ensuring patients are able to speak with a team member throughout the day in a timely, polite, and professional manner.
Communicate with patients in a courteous, professional, cooperative, and mature manner.
Accurately take messages and convey information to recipient.
Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed.
Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent situations.
Collect and input insurance information in patient charts.
Collect payment/co-pays at check in.
May be required to perform the duties of other employees in their absence.
Skills/Requirements:
Proficient computer skills with knowledge of electronic medical records.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and organized.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical office experience desired, preferably in cardiology.
Medical terminology knowledge.
Clinical experience required.
