Sweeties Home Care is currently looking for a qualified professional to provide in home Personal Care Assistant services.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a DHS background check
• Must provide proof of having obtained their PCA/Direct Support Certificate certificate
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly
• Must have the ability to document observations of client’s needs
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have food Certified Food Manager License (CFMC) OR willing to get.
• Job Duties:

• Implement client’s individual Plan of Care

• Deliver personal care services, including but not limited to bathing, dressing and grooming, stand by assist, etc.
• Deliver household services essential to the health and safety of the client including light housekeeping
• Document cares provided and pertinent observations on a daily basis
• Assure that client rights are observed at all times
• Respond and attend to client requests promptly
• Always practice proper hand washing techniques
• Promote professional and appropriate communications with peers, supervisors, and client team members at all times
• Promote client confidentiality, respect, and dignity
• Participate with in-service programs and training to meet compliance requirements
• Perform other related job duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Physical/Environment Demands:
• Involves lifting Clients, bending, stooping and stretching as needed per the Client care plan. Must be able to assess physical and emotional needs of Client and respond appropriately.
