Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Register new patients and update existing patient information in the dental records system
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments from patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
-Assist in presenting treatment plans
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental office or dentalcare setting preferred
- Proficient in dental terminology and understanding of dental office procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with electronic dental records systems, such as Dentix , is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
