Description

Receiving and Distribution Assistant - Swedish Cherry Hill (Full Time, Day Shift)

Responsible for assisting/supervising the unloading of trucks at the Receiving Dock. The overall process involves check incoming shipments for damage; verifying cartons against Vendor packing slips; entering the corrected counts into the computer; filing slips; attaching the appropriate computer generated delivery/stocking documents to cartons; and delivering cartons to designated areas to be dispatched or stocked. Rotates stock in MSC Inventories, FH ED or Issaquah Campus and on par levels on a first-in/first-out basis for all items that do not have manufacture expiration dates printed on the item and/or packaging. Rotates stock in MSC Inventory and on par levels on an earliest expiration date first-out basis for all items that do have manufacture expiration dates printed on the item and/or packaging. Inspects all items for expiration dates as part of the receiving process.

Required qualifications:

  • 1 year recent experience (within the past 5 years) working in a Supply Chain environment utilizing a computerized Materials Management Information System

Preferred qualifications:

  • Warehouse or hospital materials handling experience
