Responsible for maintaining exceptional guest in-studio experience, through customer service and coaching duties, responsible for supporting the coaching team and building community relationships to improve sales.

Description

As a member of the team, your priority is the overall impression that our members have with our studio. It is important that we strive for greatness always. It is your responsibility to offer a warm welcome and speedy, efficient service for our members. You will assist with the studio’s day-to-day processes including membership sales, inventory control, and studio cleanliness. Always on alert to help new and continuing members navigate the workout, while encouraging and motivating them to give their very best effort.
The Assistant Studio Manager will report to the Studio Manager
Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure consistent service excellence, resulting in a clean, crisp and friendly front-facing experience. High energy and presence when working on the floor at all times.
  • Complete understanding of facility operation, membership pricing, and merchandise pricing.
  • Ensure daily sales goals, including memberships and class packages, are met by educating patrons on their options.
  • Provides pop-up events and other membership perks to create community connections and improve the studio experience for its membership base.
  • It is engaged with residential buildings, local businesses, and other strategic partners to increase the exposure of the SWEAT440 brand and studio membership sales.
  • Works closely with the marketing team to ensure social media, other advertising, and in-studio communications are current and fresh with new content.
  • Ensures that all front desk policies and procedures are followed, such as proper member check-in, class registration, studio operations, and special event promotions.
  • Greets reoccurring members by name at check-in, establishing a welcoming and attentive environment.
  • Assist studio team in troubleshooting member issues, complaints, and feedback in a timely manner when needed.
  • Responsible & knowledgeable of complete studio opening and closing procedures and maintaining retail areas.
  • Daily comprehension of studio workouts, to be able to offer postural modifications to members when needed to support existing injuries, safety and maximizing results.
  • Directs and controls all studio walk-throughs for potential and current clients.
  • Ensure first-time attendees are set up for success through proper orientation and guided coaching.
  • Floor management, including daily equipment set-up and teardown, upholding timekeeping and station movement.
  • Washes and folds towels to ensure they are consistently available for members.
  • Responsible for ensuring the facility is clean, maintained, and operationally sound.
  • Able to assist in total studio operations in the absence of the Studio Manager.
Qualifications:
  • A passionate, positive, and high-energy individual who strives to provide a world-class fitness experience all of the time
  • 1-year experience in a customer service position with face-to-face customer contact
  • Previous experience as a fitness coach or instructor is preferred
  • Nationally accredited training certification or B.A. in Exercise Science or related field preferred
  • Current CPR Certification or to be obtained within three months of start date
  • Excellent time management skills; must be able to manage many tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent verbal skills
  • Must be proficient in spoken English
  • Must provide documentation of legal U.S. residency
  • Ability to work and function in a TEAM environment
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, energetic, and personable
  • Flexible to work early mornings, day, evening, and weekend hours as needed by demands of the studio
Compensation:
  • 40-50k Base Salary
