Position Description: Job Summary: The Regional Vice President of Property Management is responsible for overseeing the operations of a portfolio of multifamily properties within a designated region. The role involves managing a team of property managers, leasing agents, maintenance staff, and other support personnel to ensure that the properties are well-maintained, fully occupied, and profitable. The Regional Vice President of Property Management is also responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue, reduce expenses, and improve the overall performance of the portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of multifamily properties within a designated region Manage a team of property managers, leasing agents, maintenance staff, and other support personnel Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce expenses, and improve the overall performance of the portfolio Ensure that the properties are well-maintained, fully occupied, and profitable Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property owners, investors, and vendors Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the portfolio Participate in the development of annual budgets and business plans Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and expansion within the region Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in property management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Strong knowledge of the multifamily industry and market trends Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and implement effective strategies to increase revenue and reduce expenses Strong financial acumen and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience with property management software and other technology tools Ability to travel within the region as needed Physical Demands: The Regional Vice President of Property Management may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and may need to lift up to 25 pounds. Some travel within the region may be required. Work Environment: The Regional Vice President of Property Management will work in an office environment and may need to visit properties within the portfolio. The role may require occasional evening or weekend work.
