Swanson Rink has a growing ICT and Security team, and we are recruiting all levels of staff including entry-level. Training will be provided. This team is responsible for the design of telecommunications cable infrastructure to support IP based connections including Voice, Data, Wi-Fi, Audio Visual, CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection. This includes detailed internal building layouts, as well as exterior campus connectivity.

Your Job Responsibilities:

• Design telecommunications cable infrastructure to support IP based connections including Voice, Data, Wi-Fi, Audio Visual, CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection. This includes detailed internal building layouts, as well as exterior campus connectivity.
• Create electronic security systems including Video Surveillance and Analytics, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection.
• Design specifications, configuration, and commissioning of large scale local, integrated, and network-based systems.
• Provide construction oversite, including specification and contract drawing compliance, conduct site visits and write construction observation reports.
• Stay up to date on the latest technology and trends in the industry.

Requirements

Your Requirements and Qualifications:

• A desire to learn the telecom and security design industry.
• High attention to detail.
• Must be available to travel occasionally.
• Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

What Puts You a Step Ahead:

• Knowledge of telecom or electronic security
• Knowledge of the design or construction industry.
• Knowledgeable in industry standards including TIA/EIA, BICSI and IEEE.

Salary range of $70,000 - $110,000 and will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
