Company DescriptionSaSS is a small, privately owned outpatient clinic providing individualized speech, language and swallowing therapy across the lifespan. Job DescriptionSLP to assess and implement treatment plans for pediatric individuals with delayed language development, articulation/phonological disorders, AAC/SGD, and feeding disorders. Position includes:Evaluate speech, language and/or feeding with standardized and non-standardized assessments including medical history and background information to diagnose and create a treatment plan.Develop or implement treatment plans for problems such as delayed language, AAC, swallowing or feeding disorders, based on assessments and recommendations of SLP, physicians, psychologists, or social workers.Write reports and maintain proper documentation of information, such as client Medicaid or billing records or caseload activities, including the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.Educate patients, family and staff members about various topics, such as communication techniques or strategies to improve functional communication.Collaborate with therapy teamDesign, develop, or employ alternative communication devices or strategies. QualificationsMaster's degree in Speech-language pathology from an accredited institutionCertificate of Clinical Competence CCC-SLPWill consider a CF with knowledge and experience with AAC and ASDTexas Speech-language pathology license requiredGood standing with ASHAExcellent work ethic, honest, outgoing and compassionate Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Part time or full time position.Position available immediately.
