Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BodyShop Manager to oversee our automotive repair shop. The Bodyshop Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the bodyshop, ensuring efficient workflow, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of shop technicians and mechanics
- Schedule and assign repair jobs to ensure timely completion
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs, including auto glass replacement, welding, sheet metal work, and auto restoration
- Perform hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Experience:
- Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of auto glass replacement, welding, power tools, sheet metal work, and vehicle mechanics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
