Requirements:
B.S. in Accounting or Finance. Ten (10) years experience in accounting and in leadership, with five years experience in Federally funded contract research or Federally funded services business required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification with audit experience highly is desirable. Experience with the Deltek Costpoint software is desirable.
Desired Technical Skills:
Thorough understanding of Federal government cost accounting practices, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), corporate accounting systems, business operations, budgeting and forecasting, management information systems, internal controls, and financial analysis.
Should fully understand the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
Desired Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong aptitude for learning new skills
Manage projects with multiple stakeholders and partners
Strong technical/business writing skills
Ability to work effectively with clients
Creative problem solving and lateral thinking ability

Ability to effectively interact with external stakeholders (audit firms, government auditors and banks).

Highly ethical and able to set the proper ethical tone for the organization.
