SustainCERT is a carbon impact verification company developing digital solutions to bring credibility to climate action. In a context where uncertainty and concerns around greenwashing is high, our work ensures impacts are real and in line with global standards.
We are developing the world's first software platform to enable digital verification of impact claims across carbon markets and value chains. We strive for both speed and quality because we believe creating a race to the top, where those who act can be recognized and incentivized to aim higher, is the only way to truly meet our collective climate goals.
Your role
As a Sales Executive, your role involves selling verification of Scope 3 emission reductions to corporate climate leaders. You'll introduce our product to the market, seek out new clients and manage existing accounts. Your efforts will ensure credibility for greenhouse gas reductions and removals, foster co-investment, and enable scaled climate action. You will also identify enhancement opportunities for our product to meet customer needs better and coordinate closely with cross-functional teams.
Occasional travel to sustainability conferences and client meetings is part of the role. Since you will be working in an international team, it's important to be located in the EST-timezone to create as much overlap in business hours as possible.
You have these claims to fame:
    • 5 years of relevant full-time work experience with demonstrated success in consultative selling and building a pipeline of Fortune 500 clients (See some of our clients on the Value Change Initiative website);
    • Understanding of- and working experience with corporate climate strategies, including science-based targets, Greenhouse Gas accounting/reporting, net-zero, and carbon neutrality strategies;
    • A good understanding of (FMCG) Value Chains (Ideally Food & Agriculture and/or Apparel);
    • Effective communication skills, with fluency in English needed;
    • Customer- and result-oriented and a dedicated team player;
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving skills;
    • You are located in the EST-timezone.
