Overview

Susquehanna International Group (SIG) is seeking talented software engineers to join our Brokerage Options Development Team, which is responsible for creating and maintaining custom solutions that enable SFG’s traders to handle large orders from our institutional trading partners. You’ll work alongside SFG’s traders, analysts, and operations staff to ensure that our customer options trading platform is the best in the business, and can handle any type or amount of order flow that our customers send us.

In this role, you will:

• Take ownership of complicated business problems, seeing them through the entire software development lifecycle and through to live use by our traders and operations staff
• Have the autonomy and flexibility to decide the right tools and amount of technology to solve a given challenge
• Gain a deep understanding of the brokerage trading business, including forming close working relationships with traders and business users. Note that prior financial industry experience is not required for this role, but curiosity is!
• Leverage your excellent Object Oriented programming skills (we are primarily a C# shop, but Java and C skillsets translate very easily)
• This role requires a mindset that is comfortable with, and preferably stimulated by, rapidly evolving industry and business requirements. Markets move fast and so do our teams’ goals!
• Ensure that everything we build meets industry operational and compliance standards

What we’re looking for

• • Applicants should have strong object oriented programming skills, preferably C#, Java, or C
  • Candidates should be familiar with data storage mechanisms (primarily SQL based, but also NoSql solutions such as MongoDB)
  • Passionate about technology and interested in exploring newer tools and technologies to find the optimal solution
  • Bachelors Degree in computer science or similar technology focused discipline
  • Visa sponsorship is OK
