Job Summary:
We are seeking a Helper to join our team in the food industry. As a Helper, you will assist with various tasks in the kitchen and support the culinary team in meal preparation and food service.

Duties:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Support cooks and chefs in the kitchen by following their instructions and assisting with cooking tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist with setting up and cleaning dining areas
- Help with dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen utensils and equipment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if required
- Knowledge of basic knife skills is a plus

Note: This position must be paid, as per labor laws.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
