Surgical Management Professionals is Hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) Near Des Moines, IA
We are looking for a Director of Nursing to join our Team for Advanced Surgery Center of Central Iowa in West DesMoines!
Advanced Surgery Center of Central Iowa (ASCCI) is a 2 OR facility, AAAHC fully accredited ambulatory outpatient surgery center. This beautiful facility open in 2018, providing high quality, cost effective out patient surgery. Currently doing ortho and ENT.
This is a great opportunity for an individual that is has the will to lead a dynamic team working closely with the physicians and Surgical Management Professionals (SMP).
QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements include: Must have RN, licensed in the state of Iowa. Three to five years experience in a DON position or similar leadership position. The ideal candidate would have a MBA or a Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field.
POSITION SUMMARY: Within the authority of the Board of Directors, and at the direction of Surgical Management Professionals, serves as the chief administrative/nursing officer for the ASC by advocating the vision/ mission, creating the environment for success, establishing operational benchmarking/best practices and managing the resources of the organization. In collaboration with the Medical Director, is accountable for the day-to-day business operations of the ASC. These day-to-day operations with assistance from Surgical Management Professionals:
- Policies & Procedures
- Management of Facility & Staff
- Management of Resources/ Inventory
- Oversees Clinical Performance
- Corporate Compliance/HIPPA
- Marketing & Business Development
- Human Resource Management
- Quality
- Financial Systems
- Administrative & Operations Management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $98,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
