HIRING a Full Time Medical Assistant for Mohs Surgery Practice. Board Certified Physician owned practice with one location. Dermatology Experience Preferred. Salary dependent on experience.

Responsibilities/Duties include:

• Assist Physician with Mohs/Excision procedures, Medical Consults, Follow up visits
• Wound care, suture removal, pressure bandaging, administer numbing injections
• Document all patient data, medical instructions, messages into EHR
• Promptly present all pertinent patient info and concerns to physicians and management
• Discuss/prepare patient for procedure, answer all questions/concerns in professional/courteous manner
• Clean, organize, stock exam rooms
• Wash/prepare instruments for autoclave. Prepare procedure trays for autoclave.
• Provide all patients with the utmost level of compassionate professional care, in person or via telephone

Qualifications Required:

• 2 years Medical Assistant experience required, 1 year of Mohs/Dermatology required
• Proficient in sterile technique
• Assisting with minor procedures
• High level of professionalism in appearance and mannerisms
