Electrical Maintenance Technician (1st & 2nd Shifts) - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 24-00382

Hourly Rate: $25.18 - $32.26/HR ($1.50/HR shift differential for 2nd shift) Permanent Position with Benefits.

Cleveland Manufacturing Company is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician. Overall, the Electrical Maintenance Technician will be providing general maintenance and electrical repair support to production operations.

Requirements:

High School Diploma of GED required.
Technical Degree preferred.
3-5 years' experience in heavy manufacturing.
Must have Electrical knowledge equivalent to a electrical technician/ installer.
Must be able to read Schematics and basic ladder logic.
Experience with circuitry (240, 400 3ph), testing and equipment.
Experience with facilities electrical systems including HVAC Systems.
Must have exceptional troubleshooting skills.
Excellent Mechanical aptitude.
Must be willing and or approaching a journeyman certification.
Must be able to safely use hand and electrical tools.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must have good analytical skills.
Must have good multitasking skills.
Must have strong communication skills (written & verbal)

Key Responsibilities:

Use ammeters, multimeters, and other equipment to test connections, trace circuits and ensure the compatibility and safety of components.
Maintain wiring, fuses, contactors, relays, and other components for manufacturing equipment.
Replace items such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, relays, electrical and electronic components, and wire.
Use hand tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers, as well as power tools such as drills, saws, and knockout equipment.
Periodically inspect all equipment to ensure it is operating properly and to correct problems before breakdowns occur.
Troubleshoot equipment failures using electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Adjust and change existing PLC programs at work centers using portable PC.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
