Surge Entertainment by Drew Brees is the top entertainment destination for kids, families and adults in and around the Mobile area. We offer activities like bowling, strike arena, sports simulators, arcades and more along with a full restaurant and bar (Surge Prime Bistreaux). We are looking for someone to join our entertainment center's on-site management team to help manage our staff and oversee the operations and customer service of our guests for all of the entertainment activities we offer.
The Entertainment Manager role includes performing a variety of duties, including opening and closing, assigning tills and preparing deposits, ensuring staffing is adequately scheduled to support guests and programs, conducting pre-shift meetings with the team, managing cleaning responsibilities, safety checks and more.
We are looking for hard working, responsible, light-hearted individuals with strong customer service skills. A strong team environment is crucial for our business so we need managers who will embrace and promote that type of a workplace and who are not afraid to jump in when needed to help out.
This position is tasked with ensuring the park is a safe and fun environment by conducting a park walk-through to support the team, interact with guests, observing and fixing problems with the equipment and system operations. Our Management team is trained to learn every nuance of the business, so whether you’re creating an unforgettable guest experience or overseeing the schedule and supply orders, we will provide you with the tools and knowledge necessary for you to thrive and grow in current and future roles.

Responsibilities
· Function confidently as the Manager on Duty and provide feedback to all team members in their roles and responsibilities.
· Supervise, direct, and develop great team members to serve the guests.
· Provide the team with a welcoming and mutually supportive work environment, celebrating their victories.
· Ensure the park is clean, organized and ready to deliver at all times.
· Writing shift schedules, completing inventories and ordering supplies when necessary.
· Working with the head office to report financial numbers, issues and generally keeping the executive team in the loop about the park's performance and needs.
· Comply to all federal, state and local laws and regulation
Requirements
· Ability to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays are our busiest times.
· Preferred Computer skills – POS Systems, Excel, Word, Email, and the ability to learn new software systems as needed
· Ability to follow directions and work with little direction once assigned a task; can multi-task and successfully solve problems
· Ability to handle money and keep accurate financial records
· Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards of Surge Entertainment
· General knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations
· Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and have the ability to lift bus tubs, glass racks and trays frequently weighing up to 25-50 pounds.
· Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for period up to six (6) hours in length
