Description
We are an inpatient drug treatment program seeking highly motivated and dedicated Masters level Mental Health Counselors to join our team. Candidates must be able to ensure compliance of OASAS Inpatient Rehab and Inpatient Detox Regulations and meet deadlines for all documentation.
Candidates must be able to manage a case load of 8-10 clients, conduct daily individual & group counseling sessions, admission assessments, case management and aftercare planning, crisis interventions, and develop individualized treatment plans & overall counseling. Strong documentation skills and familiarity with OASAS regulations a plus!
Shifts: Tuesday -Saturday 10:00am - 6:00pm OR Sunday-Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient receives all required referrals and discharge information.
- Treatment planning and psychosocial completion.
- Meet with patients for individual sessions as required by OASAS and Joint Commission regulatory requirements.
- Record individual patient data in the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA) Substance abuse Tracking and Reporting System (STARS) as required weekly/monthly, if applicable.
- Assist with the clinical discharge
- Assist in the preparation of weekly case conference and case reviews.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of Substance Use Counseling preferred
License/Certification:
- CASAC, CASAC-A, CASAC 2, CASAC-M
