Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company that strives to create a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking individuals with military, law enforcement, or security experience to join our team as a Resilience Officer. You will be working on a variety of tasks and projects under the guidance of the Shift Supervisors and Area Managers for our top clients. As a Resilience Officer (RO), you will act as an ambassador for Surefox and its clients while being responsible for and ensuring the overall safety and security of our client's employees and property. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: access control, employee and guest engagement and verification measures, customer service level support and assistance, active patrolling and monitoring of client facilities, and responding to medical and non-medical emergency events.
Additionally, you will be expected to keep detailed notes throughout any incident you are a part of and will be asked to compile these notes with your coworkers to create an incident report after the fact. We are looking for someone who has exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail as well as being highly dependable. To be successful in this position, you must be able to handle the physical demands of the role and the activity required as part of the static or foot patrol responsibilities of the various positions. An RO will also be expected to provide top-tier customer service when interacting with personnel on our client campuses and will be expected to have great communication skills. Additionally, you must be able to engage with a variety of individuals as part of your daily routine while ensuring that you are maintaining a professional and respectful interaction. What you will do:
● Perform security patrols in your assigned area to look for and deter suspicious or nefarious activity while operating on foot.
● Assist with access control operations, including verifying the proper ID and credentials of individuals attempting to access the client's facilities.
● Monitor entrances and exits to a given facility or site to ensure continued security and protection of the client's employees and property.
● Provide assistance to clients’ employees as needed and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner.
● Work independently and adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high level of attentiveness and energy.
● Respond to and assist immediately and safely with any emergencies on-site
● Assist with preparing reports and statements as it pertains to accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities that may occur during your assigned shift.
● May work alongside the client’s employees to receive and scan mail and packages on the client’s behalf.
What is required:
● Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
● Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
● Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
● Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
● Must have or be in the process of obtaining a current BSIS guard card.
● Must have or be in the process of attaining a CPR/AED & First-Aid certification
from a recognized certification authority.
● Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
● Must be customer service oriented and have the ability to communicate in a professional and respectful manner with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
● Must have good judgment skills with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
● Must be able and willing to understand and follow written and verbal instructions as given by supervisory and managerial personnel.
● Must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
● Must be able to safely and effectively deploy and use any assigned equipment for the assigned role/position.
● Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time and/or able to stand and conduct foot patrols for the duration of your shift.
