We are looking for a Maintenance Technician/Residential Groundskeeper to provide services at a Residential Co Op. This is a Full Time Position with a 8AM to 5PM Schedule. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of property upkeep and work order repairs. Must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. Must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing etc. The goal is to ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Completion of Work Orders
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Must have ability to take after hour emergency calls
• Participate in snow removal on property during winter months
• Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company. Taking care of plants and grass around a property, which includes mowing the lawn, pruning trees and trimming shrubs as well as removal of trash and overgrown or dead plant life.
• Responsible for daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash.

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge and experience of all building systems (plumbing, electrical, heating etc.)
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
• An eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Will require lifting, pulling, bending, and stooping.
• Must be able to function in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.
• Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to walk.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus
• Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
