Supreme Dental Group is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Suwanee, GA

```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures and providing excellent patient care. Your knowledge of dental procedures, medical records, and infection control practices will contribute to the overall success of our dental practice.

```Duties```
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing other support as needed
- Take and record patients' vital signs, medical history, and dental charting
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, including updating medical history and treatment plans
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient inquiries
- Utilize Dentrix software to input patient information, schedule appointments, and manage billing
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Provide patients with post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education
- Assist with taking dental impressions and pouring models
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control protocols in the dental office

- Proficient in using Dentrix software or similar dental practice management systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries
- Understanding of anatomy related to oral health
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members
- Ability to maintain strict infection control protocols according to industry standards
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality
