Position: Behavior Technician
Direct report: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Wage range: Wage range: $15-$21/hr base pay, plus $4/hr additional pay for direct service time with clients ($19-$25/hr for direct service, which averages around 90% of time once trained)
Supportive Community Innovations offers a wide range of services, including ABA therapy, Behavior Support Services, Recreational Therapy, and more, for individuals with Autism, developmental differences and general behavioral and mental health concerns. Registered Behavior Technicians work in various settings such as client homes, community spaces, and our outpatient offices, focusing on supporting the child's development and quality of life. RBTs work under the guidance and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our Registered Behavior Technician position is an entry-level position, formally credentialed with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, with professional responsibilities. New technicians are trained and positioned to attain RBT status within weeks of hire and are responsible for delivering highly specialized and evidence-based therapy to children who have autism. This therapy is designed to support the child's development and progress towards recovery from the symptoms which are negatively affecting their quality of life.
