Endeavor Schools has an exciting opportunity for a Director of HR Information Systems ! The Director of HR Information Systems plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the Human Resources department by overseeing critical aspects such as data analytics and reporting, HR Information Systems (HRIS), and tax/regulatory reporting. This position requires a strategic leader who can navigate the complexities of HR Information Systems while driving initiatives that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

This position will work in a hybrid environment and must be able to regularly commute to our office in Miami, FL.

Essential Tasks

  • Oversee the administration and optimization of the HRIS platform, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and user support.
  • Coordinate audits and controls to assure data accuracy and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with IT and HR teams to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations to streamline processes and improve user experience.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionalities and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding HR-related tax filings and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with legal and finance teams to interpret and implement changes in tax laws and regulations affecting HR Information Systems.
  • Partner with external vendors to maintain data integrity and ensure policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Provide strategic direction and vision for HR Information Systems, aligning initiatives with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HR Information Systems team, promoting efficiency and effectiveness in processes and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and expansion plans.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and individual growth.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and alignment with departmental goals.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance HR decision-making processes.
  • Generate insightful reports and presentations for senior management, providing valuable insights into workforce dynamics and organizational health.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR Information Systems management, with a focus on data analytics, HRIS administration, and tax/regulatory compliance, preferably in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations governing employment and labor relations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading teams and driving organizational change initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and related software applications.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR) and/or Six Sigma/Lean methodologies is a plus.
