Job Description

A Part Salesperson is responsible for completing the following duties

• Receive incoming parts calls, respond to customer chats and email requests
• Create quotes and send them back to the customer within 4 hours or sooner
• Enter and process orders from customers as submitted
• Keep clear communication between us and the customer on status updates with quotes and orders
• Help facilitate solutions if a part is unavailable but the customer requires the part right away
• Plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction
• Familiarity with computers and operating systems
• Ability and desire to achieve product knowledge for all product lines
• Oversee parts order ship-outs
• Notify customers if parts orders are delayed or backordered
• Work with all departments to satisfy customer part requests
• Assist with parts supply chain, availability, pricing, and vendor review
• Raise awareness on parts most commonly used are not in stock or difficult to get
• Keep systems updated such as pricing, weights, and costs in our ERP system
• Keep customer pricing discounts updated by product line
• Other duties as assigned
