Superior Healthcare Management is Hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Near Worthington, MN

South Shore Care Center is a Residential Health Care Facility striving to provide the highest levels of quality care through continuous improvement, and the involvement of the interdisciplinary team and the entire community. South Shore Care Center seeks to respond to the rights, needs, and concerns of its residents, families, and staff by creating a caring environment in which each person is respected for his or her individuality and treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.

 South Shore Care Centeris looking for an Assistant Director of Nursing!

The Assistant Director of Nursing duties include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and execute exceptional nursing care
  • Providing oversight for all nurses and aides who provide direct patient care
  • Train and educate all staff on skills, regulatory requirements, and procedures
  • Collaborating with residents, families, physicians, and vendors to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Educate and Train on current State and Federal Regulations

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • At least 2 years of experience in Long Term Care
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
  • Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
