Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursing Home Recruiter/HR Assistant to join our HR team. This role focuses on recruiting top talent for various nursing home positions and supporting the HR department in day-to-day administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment within the healthcare sector and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Utilize various recruitment methods such as job boards, social media, cold calling, and networking events
- Conduct thorough screening and interviewing processes to assess candidate qualifications
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate records
-Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing and selection
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred (not required)
- Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR sourcing techniques and tools
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Indeed) and HR databases
- Proficient in using Paycor and Microsoft Teams
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to conduct research on industry trends and recruitment best practices
- Knowledge of employee relations principles and practices
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and staffing requirements
