Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time Security Officers for the 1st and 2nd shifts in the Lafayette, IN area. These positions offer a starting pay rate of $16.00/hr, paid weekly.

General Requirements:

• One year of security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred
• Reliable means of transportation and communication
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time and distance
• Must always be accessible for phone communication
• Ability to analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility
• Read and understand written instructions and communicate information and ideas in a clear and concise written form
• Exceptional report writing skills
• Willing and able to work holidays and weekends
• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to pass Federal criminal background screen and drug screen

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
