Sunrise is Hiring a SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - WFS Near Sioux Falls, SD

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for working all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting to closed-won. Additional duties include collaboration with company personnel including service, risk, and leadership to meet or exceed strategic objectives, conducting portfolio reviews, developing/executing strategic plans that will contribute to profitable growth for the company, and working closely with the customer relationship team to ensure both a timely resolution and satisfactory outcome to client issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and implement outbound sales strategies, which result in achieving (or exceeding) sales goals.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle for the Banks’s FinTech lending platform including prospecting and lead generation, contract negotiation and deal closure, all while ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
  • Track leads and opportunities within HubSpot.
  • Grow a quality book of business by new client growth and transitioned business.
  • Maintain current broker relationships and generate net-new through updated materials, communication and dynamic incentives that provide value to all teams involved.
  • Actively generating new sales leads through activities including but not limited to: outbound email, sales calls, community activities, or events.
  • Work with Marketing on new and renewal business to include gathering needed information, submissions, and preparation of proposals to clients and for preparation/creation of materials for presentations.
  • Communicate with client companies, vendors and internal teams to ensure proper administration of accounts (including contract concerns, underwriting issues, claim situations, etc); following up on outstanding issues or client requests.
  • Coordinate with internal partners to complete potential client analysis and/or account lead requests.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Operate well in a growing team environment.
  • Knowledge of employee benefit market and experience selling to benefit brokers and employers.
    • Experience selling any of the following is valuable and preferred:
      • Volunteer employee benefits.
      • B2B specifically to the C Suite.
      • Financial services and / or financial wellness products/services.
      • Adjacent industries such as Payroll, HSA, retirement plans (e.g. 401(k), etc.
    • Possess solid understanding of and successful use of CRM software tools.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
    • Keen problem-solving skills, focusing solutions on the root cause.
    • Collaborative and able to build mutually meaningful relationships with internal and external clients, and comfortably engage others in a consultative sales dialogue.
    • Sales experience and proven track record of achieving (or exceeding) goals.
    • Capable of exercising discretion, in confidential matters, and uses independent judgment.
