Billing Specialist

Sunrise Transportation needs a teammate in their Naperville office! The Billing Specialist is primarily responsible for general billing duties and providing extraordinary customer support.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Communications with School Districts

• Prepare and send accurate invoices.

• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

• Utilizing computerized accounting software program.

• Develop and maintains a high level of knowledge and expertise and follow regulations for collection, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

• Performs accurate and timely billing of accounts in accordance with policies and procedures

• Maintaining Monthly Billing Reports for Student Transportation

• Answering phones/ Assist Drivers

• Dispatching messages to drivers

• Experience in Excel and Access Programs

• Track routing changes daily to reflect on billing

• Create Monthly Calendars for drivers pertaining attendance days for all schools

Requirements:

• Must be willing to obtain a CDL school bus permit. (We help train for CDL)

• 0-2 years Billing experience is a plus but not required.

• Experience with customer service and client communication.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

• Strong MS office skills including Excel.

• Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on growth.

• Ability to work independently while still maintaining a cohesive team environment.
