Train student drivers to help them acquire the necessary skills to become a licensed commercial driver. Provide in-person instruction on a daily basis to students in the following areas:

• Conduct demonstrations of driving operations to students
• Evaluate student drivers on a regular basis to determine when they are ready to progress from the classroom to the road and ensure student drivers know how to perform well when driving on the road.
• Ensure student drivers possess a basic knowledge when dealing with situations such as intersections, urban and rural sections, expressways, bridge underpasses, etc.
• Effectively and efficiently resolve student issues.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above and meet the educational requirements listed below.
• EDUCATION: High School or GED required. Holds a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for at least 3 years and in good standing with no recent violations or restrictions is required.
• EXPERIENCE: Min 3 to 5 years work experience in the field of truck driving required.
• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Possess the ability to work in a diverse work environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population. The selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to motivate students in a learning-centered environment. The selected candidate must also be a self starter and able to effectively manage others.
