Responsibilities

• Support the transportation of materials to various sites following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment on busy construction sites.
• Assist in equipment inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates smoothly and safely throughout the training lifecycle.

Experience

• No prior experience required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn!
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety standards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to paving and concrete work.
• Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols, including DOT regulations and construction site safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder) and provide proof before hire.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical, including a Pulmonary Function Test (breathing test).
• Must have no more than two moving violations within the past three years.
• Must have no more than one preventable accident within the past three years. A preventable accident is one for which you were at fault or that you could have avoided.
• Must have no rollover accidents or accidents involving a fatality on your driving record.
• Must have no DUI, DWI, careless driving, or reckless driving violations within the past five years.
• Must have no driver’s license suspension or revocation within the past five years resulting from failing or refusing a drug or alcohol test.
• Must be able to pass a DOT urine drug test.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Hazmat endorsement and a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), including passing the required TSA background checks. A TWIC allows access to ports and secure terminals. An existing TWIC is not required when applying.
