The base pay for this position ranges from $84,748/Yr. to $127,123/Yr. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Summary of Role:

SunPower is seeking a strong team player who will directly manage residential Service Partners (O&M) for residential solar and solar storage projects. The Service Partner Manager role involves sourcing, qualifying, onboarding, and managing quality Service Partners. The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with Service Partners, negotiating pricing and Master Service Agreements, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, technical specifications, and internal processes. This role will also be responsible for forecasting and delivering Service Partner capacity to meet company objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source, qualify, onboard, train, and manage quality Installation Partners within a given territory
  • Maintain qualified Service Partners in line with company requirements (licensing, training, safety, quality, customer experience, and process adherence)
  • Build relationships with Service Partners and provide operations consulting as necessary
  • Forecast and deliver service capacity as required to meet company objectives
  • Responsible for contract management and compliance of Master Service Agreements
  • Negotiate pricing for standard service work and additional scope of work as necessary
  • Review and approve service quotes and invoices for non-standard work
  • Lead regular performance and pipeline reviews with Partner leadership teams
  • Quickly identify and resolve potential problems or issues that could impact Service Partner operations
  • Ensure SunPower brand is well represented when Partner crews are onsite
  • Ensure closed loop learning on quality observations 
  • Contribute to delivering key departmental goals and objectives
  • Engage in understanding and resolving customer escalations
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 years of PV and PV Storage project experience
  • Knowledge of construction and electrical codes
  • Ability to understand, evaluate, problem solve and communicate PV storage plans and documents
  • Proven ability to successfully monitor, and assess subcontractor performance
  • Direct experience managing PV and/or trade subcontractors
  • Strong relationship-building skills and account management experience
  • Capable of influencing others and developing strong cross functional relationships
  • Knowledge of residential solar operations best practices
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with Executive and Senior Leadership levels
  • Proven ability to provide training, feedback, performance management and leadership to others
  • Keen eye for continuous improvement opportunities
  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • Familiarity with business intelligence platforms
  • Familiarity with construction contracts (Master Service Agreements)
  • Strong negotiating skills and experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and driving screen
  • Motivated self-starter, willing to take initiative
Preferred Requirements:
  • 2 years of residential solar Partner Operations Management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • In-field residential solar operations leadership experience
  • Experience coordinating the installation of various PV storage products
  • Account management and relationship-building experience with various construction contractors
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion
