Responsibilities:
- Process member transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register and 10-key typing skills.
- Provide excellent memberr service by answering questions, resolving issues, and promoting credit union products and services.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift and ensure accurate cash management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to credit union policies and procedures regarding security, confidentiality, and compliance.
Requirements:
- Strong math skills, including proficiency in retail math and basic calculations.
- Experience using a cash register or similar point-of-sale system.
- Ability to accurately perform 10-key typing for data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with members and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Basic computer skills for accessing customer accounts and inputting transaction data.
Note: Previous experience as a teller or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and qualifications.
