Our nutrition specialist must be reliable and have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and effective time management habits. Sunflower Shoppe requires all of our nutrition specialist to continuously learn- about our products, how to sell, and about our customers! Nutrition specialist should love to work with people, have excellent math skills and be available for flexible scheduling Monday-Saturday (Closed Sundays). An interest in supplements, natural body care and organic foods is a plus!

Some cashier responsibilities include:

• Giving the customer their undivided attention
• Resolve customer challenges and/or complaints and provide relevant information
• Remain up-to-date with evolving product selection
• Attend in-store and off-site vendor trainings
• Completes provided nutrition courses within 90 days.
• Make sales referrals, cross-sell products
• Resolve customer challenges and/or complaints and provide relevant information
• Maintain well stocked, clean, clearly priced and organized nutrition and body care areas
• Help with stocking, maintaining or creating displays
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Support store programs

Some requirements include:

• 5 miles of walking per 8 hours will be required.
• Bend, stoop, and climb ladders to grasp objects. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
• Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 30 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
