What the role does:
The Residential Designer is responsible for designing code-compliant PV Systems for the residential market. This position relies on self-driven candidates with a background in electrical, mechanical design and must be engineer minded. The Residential Designer must understand technical and business goals. Must be detailed orientated and be able to work well under deadline pressure, multi-tasking and problem solving. A Sr. Designer displays more technical knowledge, a greater work volume output and ability to research and problem solve unique design solutions as needed.

The Details:This role is full-time and based out of our offices in Chandler, AZ. Hours are typically between 7 am to 4 pm to align with other department hours. Schedule flexibility can be discussed once the candidate is fully trained. Sun Valley Solar performs E-Verify, background and drug screens (excluding testing for THC) on all final candidates.
