The Safety Manager will report directly to our Commercial General Manager and work closely with other leaders to guide and contribute to the ongoing growth of Sun Valley Solar Solutions and it's subsidiaries. On day one you will join a company with a strong safety program following OSHA requirements, an active safety committee and an owner who views safety as our absolute top priority. The mission for this role is simple: proactively plan, direct and implement the Company's safety program to ensure a safe, healthy and accident free work environment. This role would be a subject matter expert in all applicable governmental safety regulations and risk management. Your focus would be working with our field teams in ensuring each construction project is conducting operations in a safe manner for the protection of our employees, clients, subcontractors and the general public.

The perfect fit for this role would enjoy strategizing with senior leadership while also being boots on the ground in the field, engaging with our installers and earning their respect through mentorship and coaching. If you are looking for strictly a "desk job" then we aren't the right fit for you as this is a hands-on role with at least 50% of the day spent in the field accessing residential rooftops and commercial job sites. This means that prior related residential or commercial electrical, roofing or solar experience is required in order to bridge the gap between the WHY (safety) with the HOW (get the job done).
