Duties & Responsibilities:

• Continually strive to exceed our Guests’ expectations and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience.
• Provide front-line interaction with summer guests.
• Administer First Aid on the mountain’s hiking and biking trails and during hiking/biking race events.
• Be diligent in handling and recording all accident information forms and ensuring accurate and timely information delivery.
• Carry out the daily opening and closing procedures; mark, sign, open, and close all biking trails per the standards on all mountain trails.
• Ensure safe trail conditions are met for all guests and staff, and update status daily.
• Build and repair the trails to ensure the safest possible experience with negligible environmental impact.
• Increase Mountain Bike Safety Awareness by patrolling the Bike Trails daily.
• To assist with other departments as required.
• Perform lift evacuation as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 80-hour Level III Occupational First Aid certification or Outdoor Emergency Care.
• Excellent risk management skills.
• Evac system knowledge is an asset.
• Ski Patrol experience is preferred.
• Capable of riding all the trails on Bald Mountain.
• Able to interact well with guests and other mountain department employees.
• Must be well-spoken and able to interact with guests on the front line.
• Must be a minimum of 19 years old.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
